The SC Braga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Laçın Cumayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gentil Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zigmantas Gimbutas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 26th minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Máximo Laureano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28thth minute of the game Gentil Setúbal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. André Jordão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Laureano having to interfere. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39thth minute of the game Gentil Setúbal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of SC Braga booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Stålman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zigmantas Gimbutas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zigmantas Gimbutas might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Máximo Laureano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zigmantas Gimbutas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 56th minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Máximo Laureano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Jon-Egil Sætre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Xavi Xavier replaced Gentil Setúbal. 69 minutes into the game, Alberto Malheiro threw the ball into play from the sideline.
