Teodosio Olo started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes F.C. Paços de Ferreira got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Hoisie. 4 minutes into the match, F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Olo came free, but Péter Mészáros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The KINDERUZ fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when KINDERUZ's Teodosio Olo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 7th minute Avelino Varanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Péter Mészáros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute José Bomba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute F.C. Paços de Ferreira were awarded a corner. Igor Tudor went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 12th minute, Bóas Pernas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, KINDERUZ's Nechifor Isbășoiu got a free kick in the 20th minute. Isidoro Nóbrega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Bomba in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match F.C. Paços de Ferreira got a corner. KINDERUZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Igor Tudor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nechifor Isbășoiu's late challenge caught a F.C. Paços de Ferreira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nechifor Isbășoiu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, KINDERUZ's Nechifor Isbășoiu got a free kick in the 26th minute. Igor Tudor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodosio Olo in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Péter Mészáros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the game, José Bomba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Isidoro Nóbrega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When KINDERUZ's Teodosio Olo in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Paços de Ferreira's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of KINDERUZ booed when F.C. Paços de Ferreira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Péter Mészáros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nechifor Isbășoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, José Bomba managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Paços de Ferreira's supporters rose to their feet, but José Bomba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Nóbrega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Bomba to make the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, KINDERUZ's goal looked a bit too open when José Bomba came free, but Isidoro Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in KINDERUZ's zone, Paulo Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Nóbrega came out of the goal and Paulo Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
