In the 3rd minute, Vivaldo Belém left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jerónimo Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Germano Carmona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF booed when Stars Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Sobral didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Albuquerque came free, but Maurício Estrela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germano Carmona made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Vivaldo Belém sent off a good shot on target. Germano Carmona came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Cristiano Bento. But to his dismay, Cristiano Bento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, Stars Academy's Salvador Sobral got a free kick in the 19th minute. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Vivaldo Belém took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Germano Carmona to make any attempt to save it. Germano Carmona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vivaldo Belém in the 25th minute. Vivaldo Belém received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Germano Carmona came out and tried to block the shot, but Vivaldo Belém slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 28th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Belém notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Stars Academy's Germano Carmona. Germano Carmona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the match, Stars Academy's goalkeeper Germano Carmona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vivaldo Belém. In the 45th minute, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Jerónimo Leiria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Germano Carmona. Germano Carmona yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerónimo Leiria was the one to do the kick off. Vivaldo Belém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vivaldo Belém in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Carmona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Jerónimo Leiria sped through Stars Academy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Germano Carmona. 63 minutes into the game, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Cristiano Bento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germano Carmona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. After 66 minutes, Jerónimo Leiria made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Stars Academy's Germano Carmona tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute, Vivaldo Belém ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Germano Carmona was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. Bertus Guine kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Albertus Guine took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germano Carmona. Germano Carmona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-0. After some careless play in the Stars Academy defense, Zé Guine kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Germano Carmona. The Stars Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germano Carmona should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the game, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Cristiano Bento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germano Carmona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 16-0. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
