An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Labarra in the 4th minute of play forced SalentoUnited's goalkeeper Igor Brandenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Pinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Brandenberg having to make a save. Igor Brandenberg came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by LavAzzA's Amerigo Labarra. But to his dismay, Amerigo Labarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 13 played minutes SalentoUnited got a freekick which was hit by Patrice Brechbühl. After 20 played minutes LavAzzA got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Forsberg. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Ergincan Suerkan with Boris Walpert as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience was convinced that Fernando Pinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Brandenberg was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Igor Brandenberg came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by LavAzzA's Fernando Pinto. But to his dismay, Fernando Pinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 33rd minute, Patrice Brechbühl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, LavAzzA's Iwan Lepucki got control of the ball when Frasier Huber tried to sneak it across the goal line. Igor Brandenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of LavAzzA booed when SalentoUnited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ergincan Suerkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. LavAzzA's Fred Feuerstein quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Patrice Brechbühl, made in the 45th minute of the game. In the 47th match minute, SalentoUnited was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ergincan Suerkan to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The supporters of SalentoUnited booed when LavAzzA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Labarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Feuerstein made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SalentoUnited's Fidel Ciprella. After a rather tough play, SalentoUnited's Frasier Huber got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Fernando Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Brandenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwan Lepucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frasier Huber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Igor Brandenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. SalentoUnited's Urbano Hotz was substituted for Frasier Huber. SalentoUnited made a substitution. Fox Aiello replaced Alexis Veterini. A sloppy throw-in by Patrice Brechbühl in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by LavAzzA's Fred Feuerstein. Fernando Pinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Igor Brandenberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Pinto ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the match, SalentoUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Pinto came free, but Igor Brandenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Pinto took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Brandenberg. Igor Brandenberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The SalentoUnited fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LavAzzA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
