Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Claudiu Bumba got the match started through his kick off. 11 minutes into the match, Axenstein's goal looked a bit too open when Gerry Fleischer came free, but Michele Rieger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axenstein's Michele Rieger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Pfeifer in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Axenstein's Bodo Oster dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ragnar Lodbrok could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Ralph Sanger made a huge save. J.C. Mijatović scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michele Rieger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michele Rieger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Pfeifer, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Axenstein's goalkeeper Michele Rieger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, B O B I S A's Silvio Pfeifer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michele Rieger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Rudolph Bosch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ralph Sanger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bodo Oster in the 41st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Ralph Sanger successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After the first half B O B I S A were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerry Fleischer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Bumba in the 51st minute of play forced B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Ragnar Lodbrok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Sanger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Gerry Fleischer sped through Axenstein's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michele Rieger. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Lodbrok in the 64th minute of play forced B O B I S A's goalkeeper Ralph Sanger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralph Sanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Bumba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janusz Skaradowski hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Gerry Fleischer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Michele Rieger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michele Rieger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerry Fleischer in the 75th minute of the match. Michele Rieger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Fleischer, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Axenstein's Claudiu Bumba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ralph Sanger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. B O B I S A's Christophe Mehri was substituted for J.C. Mijatović. The B O B I S A supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing B O B I S A would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
