Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaudencio Lekubegi ran back to his position shaking his head. Tristan Arioli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Mateo Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Lepucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Gaudencio Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Arioli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, one of Olympique Fribourg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olympique Fribourg. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olympique Fribourg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Amerigo Labarra was slow to take the kick. During this time LavAzzA's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Fred Feuerstein advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the game, LavAzzA's Gaudencio Lekubegi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tristan Arioli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Lekubegi came free, but Tristan Arioli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, LavAzzA's Gaudencio Lekubegi made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tristan Arioli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tristan Arioli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Tristan Arioli came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by LavAzzA's Gaudencio Lekubegi. But to his dismay, Gaudencio Lekubegi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Gaudencio Lekubegi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristan Arioli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Olympique Fribourg getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ant Koyak hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tristan Arioli saved Olympique Fribourg from getting behind. After some careless play in the Olympique Fribourg defense, Marcus Skytt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tristan Arioli. The Olympique Fribourg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tristan Arioli should have stopped the shot. Mich Batshuayi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Iwan Lepucki made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaudencio Lekubegi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tristan Arioli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ant Koyak hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to LavAzzA getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Franc Fabra hit a great ball. Mateo Esiquio kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Iwan Lepucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mich Batshuayi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaudencio Lekubegi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tristan Arioli having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 73rd minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Gaudencio Lekubegi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LavAzzA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Lekubegi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tristan Arioli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Lekubegi in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Lekubegi came free, but Tristan Arioli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Fribourg's zone, Gaudencio Lekubegi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristan Arioli came out of the goal and Gaudencio Lekubegi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, Marcellus Walpert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olympique Fribourg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LavAzzA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Olympique Fribourg's Marcellus Walpert got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95thth minute of the game Gaudencio Lekubegi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
