The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Heiner Studer saved 1. FC Union Weberei from getting behind. Black Dragons's Hannes Dresdner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Gruenewald in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in 1. FC Union Weberei's zone, I Putu í Lon Jacobsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heiner Studer came out of the goal and I Putu í Lon Jacobsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hannes Dresdner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuliano Baumann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute of the match Black Dragons got a corner. 1. FC Union Weberei's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Waud Soetemans ran over to the corner to take the kick. Black Dragons's Sander Buckinx pulled a muscle in his back after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Nico Gruenewald fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1. FC Union Weberei's protests and gave Nico Gruenewald a yellow card for diving instead. Black Dragons's Konstantin Rüttimann was substituted for Sander Buckinx. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of 1. FC Union Weberei:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Black Dragons:s goal. I Putu í Lon Jacobsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Heiner Studer made a huge save. In the 45th minute Black Dragons were awarded a corner. Waud Soetemans went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Waud Soetemans got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Heiner Studer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Black Dragons's defense didn't have a chance, in the 50th minute, when Bonifatius Scarano scored to the left of an out of position Hannes Dresdner, making the score, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nico Gruenewald got free with Hannes Dresdner in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giuliano Baumann came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hannes Dresdner could save by the left post. In the 68thth minute of the game I Putu í Lon Jacobsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1. FC Union Weberei's Heiner Studer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Black Dragons's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Waud Soetemans in the 69th minute. A collision led to Black Dragons getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cliff Renner hit a great ball.
