With a little luck, Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel got control of the ball when Jorge Luna tried to sneak it across the goal line. When THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Jorge Luna in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espen Steelers's goalie prevented a goal. Kiran Tomasini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alain Berset's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Alain Berset might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kiran Tomasini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alain Berset ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 minutes into the match, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goal looked a bit too open when Alain Berset came free, but Kiran Tomasini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Espen Steelers's Alain Berset made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kiran Tomasini was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Luna got free with Gregor Kobel in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kiran Tomasini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alain Berset in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of THE ROKERY PIMKIS booed when Espen Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stan Wawrinka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Espen Steelers's zone, Jorge Luna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregor Kobel came out of the goal and Jorge Luna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Alain Berset ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kiran Tomasini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Kiran Tomasini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Berset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregor Kobel having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Alain Berset left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espen Steelers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Kiran Tomasini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alain Berset in the 40th minute of play. Jorge Luna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gregor Kobel came out and tried to block the shot, but Jorge Luna slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alain Berset in the 44th minute of play forced THE ROKERY PIMKIS's goalkeeper Kiran Tomasini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Alain Berset had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kiran Tomasini. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alain Berset was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Luna to make the kick off. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Matthias Lepage with Francisco Mino as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alain Berset got free with Kiran Tomasini in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Luna came free, but Gregor Kobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gregor Kobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Morientes in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Marco Odermatt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. THE ROKERY PIMKIS made a substitution. Juan Corredor replaced Fernando Morientes. The throw-in from Neil Dussling in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Espen Steelers's Marco Odermatt. Marco Odermatt took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kiran Tomasini. Kiran Tomasini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. After a rather tough play, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Neil Dussling got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Gregor Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Rogelio Montez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kiran Tomasini. Rogelio Montez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. Kiran Tomasini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stan Wawrinka, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Montez got free with Kiran Tomasini in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ronny Simmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
