In the 8thth minute of the game Alain Berset who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Dragons's Hannes Dresdner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Black Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Alain Berset came free, but Hannes Dresdner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling I Putu í Lon Jacobsen in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregor Kobel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waud Soetemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gregor Kobel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Williams Imholz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Dresdner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Black Dragons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Wenzel to maneuver through the defense. Hannes Dresdner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Williams Imholz in the 25th minute of play. Hannes Dresdner made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Alain Berset sent off a good shot on target. Patrick Wenzel charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrick Wenzel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Black Dragons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Wenzel to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Sander Buckinx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Williams Imholz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hannes Dresdner firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hannes Dresdner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alain Berset's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Rico Roy's late challenge caught a Espen Steelers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rico Roy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Rico Roy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Montez came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hannes Dresdner could save by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when I Putu í Lon Jacobsen made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alain Berset in the 50th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hannes Dresdner saved Black Dragons from getting behind. After 51 played minutes Black Dragons got a freekick which was hit by Stephane Pfiffer. A collision led to Black Dragons getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Waud Soetemans hit a great ball. When Alain Berset came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Espen Steelers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alain Berset couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, Black Dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Alain Berset came free, but Hannes Dresdner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hannes Dresdner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stan Wawrinka, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Williams Imholz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Dresdner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Dragons's goalkeeper Hannes Dresdner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when Black Dragons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephane Pfiffer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Espen Steelers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
