Stan Wawrinka was slow to take the kick. During this time Espen Steelers's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Espen Steelers's corner Stan Wawrinka fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fergus Maina quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gutierre Lauri in the 5th minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Gregor Kobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alain Berset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alain Berset in the 9th minute of play forced Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Fergus Maina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alain Berset in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fergus Maina saved Ämmer Sportfreaks from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Godoy in the 12th minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Gregor Kobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fergus Maina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alain Berset, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goal looked a bit too open when Alain Berset came free, but Fergus Maina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alain Berset in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fergus Maina saved Ämmer Sportfreaks from getting behind. With a little luck, Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel got control of the ball when Gutierre Lauri tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Alain Berset ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fergus Maina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 25 minutes, Horacio Ignatius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ämmer Sportfreaks and the Espen Steelers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Horacio Ignatius kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Alain Berset's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fergus Maina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricius Lafranchi in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Gutierre Lauri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gregor Kobel, 1-1. Alain Berset blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fergus Maina having to make a save. Fergus Maina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Berset in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alain Berset in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fergus Maina saved Ämmer Sportfreaks from getting behind. When Espen Steelers's Alain Berset in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalie prevented a goal. Fergus Maina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alain Berset in the 43rd minute of play. Gregor Kobel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alain Berset made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the game Horacio Ignatius made a throw-in which Dan Gerber played forward. In the 54th minute, Stan Wawrinka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alain Berset blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fergus Maina having to make a save. Fergus Maina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Berset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes of play, Espen Steelers's Alain Berset made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fergus Maina was left in no man's land by his defense there! Espen Steelers's Rogelio Montez was substituted for Alain Berset. 69 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's Rogelio Montez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fergus Maina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ämmer Sportfreaks's Alwin Känel was substituted for Gutierre Lauri. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Giancarlo Weissmuller replaced Ekain Menendez. In the 72nd minute of the match Espen Steelers got a corner. Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stan Wawrinka ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gregor Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alwin Känel, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Rogelio Montez might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fergus Maina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Montez ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Fergus Maina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogelio Montez. Fergus Maina came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Rogelio Montez. But to his dismay, Rogelio Montez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 84th minute, Horacio Ignatius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Espen Steelers's Stan Wawrinka tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gregor Kobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alwin Känel in the 86th minute of the match. Williams Imholz kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Fergus Maina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stan Wawrinka. In the 91st minute, Alwin Känel made a precise shot to the right of Gregor Kobel. Espen Steelers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalkeeper Fergus Maina, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fergus Maina was a little too slow when Rogelio Montez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 3-5. Espen Steelers's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
