Liver Bird's Stig Verlengia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Hengemühl in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Hengemühl in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig Verlengia saved Liver Bird from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Tarada's goalkeeper Henrick Zeier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clinton Werfel. With a little luck, Tarada's Henrick Zeier got control of the ball when Clinton Werfel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Stig Verlengia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Liver Bird's Stig Verlengia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Liver Bird from getting a goal against them. When Liver Bird's Dimitris Rapsopodis in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tarada's goalie prevented a goal. If Stian Aarflot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tarada's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
