Chancy Olympique's Arkadiusz Pietras quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aris Kalogeros, made in the 7th minute of the game. A collision led to Liver Bird getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Aris Kalogeros hit a great ball. Pastor Dominix struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Stig Verlengia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chancy Olympique. Stig Verlengia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoel Fraile in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Fraile in the 19th minute of play forced Liver Bird's goalkeeper Stig Verlengia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Manoel Fraile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stig Verlengia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Fraile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Chancy Olympique were awarded a corner. Manoel Fraile went to the cornerflag to take it. Pat Eggers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Alex Méret made a huge save. Pastor Dominix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Liver Bird fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Manoel Fraile took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig Verlengia. Stig Verlengia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 47th minute Manoel Fraile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Verlengia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 minutes Liver Bird's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manoel Fraile who took care of the corner kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timoteo Kuhn was the one to do the kick off. Alex Méret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nathaniel Howald, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The corner led Liver Bird's Clinton Werfel to fire away a dangerous shot which Alex Méret despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Liver Bird's Clinton Werfel got a free kick in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Liver Bird's goalkeeper Stig Verlengia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manoel Fraile. Alex Méret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacques La Rosa in the 60th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Liver Bird's corner Nathaniel Howald fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alex Méret quite easily take care of the ball. Chancy Olympique made a substitution. Moisés Mangas replaced Carlo Wollstadt. Liver Bird's Raffaele Mutach was substituted for Alfred Parolini. In the 65th minute, one of Chancy Olympique:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chancy Olympique. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Liver Bird. Pat Eggers stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alex Méret. 1-1. If Nathaniel Howald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alex Méret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clinton Werfel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Timoteo Kuhn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liver Bird fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Timoteo Kuhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Méret having to interfere. Nathaniel Howald kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Liver Bird's Nathaniel Howald got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Jonathan Lamontagne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Méret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liver Bird walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
