In the 5th minute, Scott Herz made a precise shot to the right of Walter Fransson. Fire Devils's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 9 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Wenzel. Ueli Siegenthaler made in the 11th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Percy Paterson immediately put the ball in play. Scott Herz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Fransson having to make a save. Walter Fransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harvey Dresdner in the 19th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Francis Aberle. Walter Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Saenger in the 23rd minute of play. Fire Devils's Walter Fransson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Fire Devils from getting a goal against them. After 25 played minutes Hemmersbacher SV got a freekick which was hit by Scott Herz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Scott Herz in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Fransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Fire Devils's Andreas Furcas in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hemmersbacher SV's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Andreas Furcas put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maurice Buttliger. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andreas Furcas was the one to do the kick off. The referee gave Hemmersbacher SV a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Harvey Dresdner, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fire Devils's Walter Fransson. 3-1. Walter Fransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scott Herz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walter Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Saenger in the 58th minute of play. Scott Herz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Fransson having to interfere. Fire Devils's Walter Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scott Herz in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, Hemmersbacher SV's Oskar Brandenberger made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Fransson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fire Devils's Loris Hellmüller was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maurice Buttliger in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 72 minutes into the match, Goliath Perna notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Hemmersbacher SV's Maurice Buttliger. Maurice Buttliger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th minute Scott Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Fransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hemmersbacher SV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rory Restaino in the 83rd minute. Hemmersbacher SV's Scott Herz got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Francis Aberle. Walter Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Saenger in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Hemmersbacher SV's Scott Herz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Fransson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Hemmersbacher SV's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
