The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Elmo Lodev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Aivar Kalde in the 5th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Volli Vilo. Hardo Kaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hardo Kaar in the 6th minute of play forced FC Kopli's goalkeeper Joakim Vennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Kopli's Joakim Vennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hardo Kaar in the 8th minute of play. When Hardo Kaar came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Aidu Metskonna Pöörased fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hardo Kaar couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Villu Idavain dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dušan Kinder, 1-0. FC Kopli's Joakim Vennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hardo Kaar in the 21st minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Hardo Kaar made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joakim Vennerström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute Hardo Kaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Dušan Kinder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Aidu Metskonna Pöörased from getting a goal against them. Joakim Vennerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hardo Kaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 minutes FC Kopli's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerd Viru who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Volli Vilo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Franciszek Labus kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Hardo Kaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pankracy Sochacki who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to FC Kopli's Elmar Loorits getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Hardo Kaar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Joakim Vennerström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Villu Idavain to strike the kick off in the second half. Dušan Kinder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Villu Idavain in the 50th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Villu Idavain in the 52nd minute of play forced Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's goalkeeper Dušan Kinder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Volli Vilo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Hardo Kaar in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Kopli's goalie prevented a goal. Hardo Kaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rein Viilma kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Pankracy Sochacki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dušan Kinder skillfully saved the ball. Joakim Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hardo Kaar in the 64th minute of play. Joakim Vennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hardo Kaar in the 65th minute of the match. Hardo Kaar might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joakim Vennerström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hardo Kaar ran back to his position shaking his head. Joakim Vennerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hardo Kaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pankracy Sochacki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Dušan Kinder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Madis Ratas in the 71st minute of play. Hardo Kaar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joakim Vennerström having to make a save. In the 77thth minute of the game Villu Idavain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Dušan Kinder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute of the match FC Kopli got a corner. Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pankracy Sochacki ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Pankracy Sochacki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dušan Kinder quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hardo Kaar in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Kopli's goalkeeper Joakim Vennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, FC Kopli's goal looked a bit too open when Hardo Kaar came free, but Joakim Vennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gerd Viru in the 88th minute. Gerd Viru made a great header on Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's corner, it was just that FC Kopli's Joakim Vennerström managed to reach the ball for a save. Dušan Kinder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villu Idavain, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Aidu Metskonna Pöörased walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
