In the 27th minute Barnaby Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Lepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Patrick McDonald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fryderyk Lepper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fryderyk Lepper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baoithin Doherty in the 36th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Baoithin Doherty made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Fryderyk Lepper tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Blanche Glen Crowe fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1948 MKS's protests and gave Blanche Glen Crowe a yellow card for diving instead. Blanche Glen Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half 1948 MKS were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 1948 MKS reached it. After 78 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Scott Colwell. The supporters of Zawisza Bydgoszcz booed when 1948 MKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Jameson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barnaby Rogers scored 2-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fryderyk Lepper, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ter Stegen came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Coileán McAlphie. But to his dismay, Coileán McAlphie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. 93 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaby Rogers came free, but Fryderyk Lepper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Cianán McDonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
