Sergio Rochet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnaby Rogers in the 17th minute of play. Austin Deery's late challenge caught a Uí Fergusa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Austin Deery helped the player get up and apologised. When Adama Traore came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Uí Fergusa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adama Traore couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Izydor Karbowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uí Fergusa's Sergio Rochet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaby Rogers in the 33rd minute of play. When 1948 MKS's Barnaby Rogers, in the 33rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for 1948 MKS. Adama Traore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walery Pazura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ter Stegen having to interfere. With a little luck, Uí Fergusa's Sergio Rochet got control of the ball when Baoithin Doherty tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Adama Traore came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick McDonald came free, but Sergio Rochet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Izydor Karbowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barnaby Rogers to strike the kick off in the second half. Sergio Rochet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baoithin Doherty's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Sergio Rochet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baoithin Doherty in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geronimo Ciceron got free with Ter Stegen in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the 1948 MKS defense, Walery Pazura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ter Stegen. The 1948 MKS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ter Stegen should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute Adama Traore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adama Traore, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Pitta in the 65th minute of play. Geronimo Ciceron kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Barnaby Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1948 MKS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of Uí Fergusa booed when 1948 MKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baoithin Doherty didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Cianán McDonald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Lugano struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ter Stegen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uí Fergusa. 79 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Adama Traore came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adama Traore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute Barnaby Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Rochet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Uí Fergusa's Ter Stegen threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adama Traore, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. From a short distance, Uí Fergusa's Adama Traore, in the 84th minute, tried to place the ball behind Ter Stegen, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Eoghan Barrett got a free kick in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geronimo Ciceron got free with Ter Stegen in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adama Traore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd match minute, 1948 MKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Austin Deery to maneuver through the defense. The 1948 MKS support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
