When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Walery Pazura took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fryderyk Lepper to make any attempt to save it. Gabriel Batistuta came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fryderyk Lepper could save by the left post. Fryderyk Lepper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walery Pazura in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Geronimo Ciceron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Fryderyk Lepper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adama Traore was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Uí Fergusa's Walery Pazura made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fryderyk Lepper was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 56 minutes, Rorry McTommy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zawisza Bydgoszcz and the Uí Fergusa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Rorry McTommy. 57 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Ciceron came free, but Fryderyk Lepper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fryderyk Lepper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walery Pazura, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes Uí Fergusa got a freekick which was hit by Lochlainn Holt. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Fryderyk Lepper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Ciceron in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Uí Fergusa booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rorry McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Adama Traore made a precise shot to the right of Fryderyk Lepper. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. In the 87th minute Walery Pazura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Lepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fryderyk Lepper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adama Traore in the 88th minute of play. Fryderyk Lepper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walery Pazura, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's Walery Pazura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fryderyk Lepper narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Aengus Duggan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. Uí Fergusa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
