The North Face's Burhanettin Berkkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save The North Face from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the match, The North Face's Joshua Cumming sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Colin Booth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With 22 minutes on the clock, Grant McPhedron commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Bob McMillan placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Vinny McNamell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colin Booth having to interfere. Vinny McNamell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Colin Booth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colin Booth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinny McNamell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Freddie Vennerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the game, Sun Xing Jian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Colin Booth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vinny McNamell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Freddie Vennerberg struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Colin Booth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The North Face. Freddie Vennerberg took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Colin Booth. Colin Booth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After having played for 61 minutes, Vinny McNamell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The North Face's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinny McNamell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vinny McNamell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sun Xing Jian's late challenge caught a Gavião Kyikatejê's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sun Xing Jian helped the player get up and apologised. Burhanettin Berkkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregor Nelson in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Freddie Vennerberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Colin Booth. Freddie Vennerberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 77 minutes into the match, Vinny McNamell dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Colin Booth, 0-5. Colin Booth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qiao Yue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sun Xing Jian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Colin Booth having to interfere. Vinny McNamell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Colin Booth made a huge save. If Freddie Vennerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, The North Face's Sun Xing Jian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Colin Booth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The North Face's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
