Spectators: 943 (Terracing: 708, Seating: 217, VIP seats: 18) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pearse McWilliam took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Russell Bennett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 5 minutes into the match, St. James Gate F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Derek Findley came free, but Brigid Rutherford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Lisburn Distillery F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Shuttleworth to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Hewney Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pearse McWilliam might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juvenal Moreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pearse McWilliam ran back to his position shaking his head. Juvenal Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hewney Kirby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Aaron Walker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Barhart Costello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tipper Savic who took care of the corner kick. 30 minutes into the match, St. James Gate F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Derek Findley came free, but Brigid Rutherford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juvenal Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hewney Kirby, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 38th minute, Aaron Walker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juvenal Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burke Martyn in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, St. James Gate F.C.'s Aaron Walker got a free kick in the 44th minute. Russell Bennett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Russell Bennett in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Russell Bennett to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Hewney Kirby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Juvenal Moreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 59 minutes in the game, Russell Bennett fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Brigid Rutherford having to interfere. Russell Bennett in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brigid Rutherford, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford got control of the ball when Russell Bennett tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brigid Rutherford prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brigid Rutherford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Sloan in the 88th minute. Ian Sloan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Brigid Rutherford made a huge save. Brigid Rutherford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Sloan in the 93rd minute of the match. Juvenal Moreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Biddy Delaney went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. St. James Gate F.C. had played much better football throughout.
