Spectators: 186 (Terracing: 140, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raymond Johnston started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Richard McNeish. Fergus Fairbairn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve McWattie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fergus Fairbairn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graeme Downie, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Steve McWattie notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn. Fergus Fairbairn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Graeme Downie came free, but Fergus Fairbairn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rangers FC's Shane Lansdale got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Fergus Fairbairn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve McWattie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Jordan Robison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyler McCraw. Gavião Kyikatejê's Jordan Robison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Gavião Kyikatejê from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Gregor Nelson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jordan Robison was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Danny Gilespie showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 45 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steve McWattie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Raymond Johnston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordan Robison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordan Robison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danny Gilespie in the 54th minute of the match. Jordan Robison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Johnston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raymond Johnston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordan Robison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Johnston in the 59th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Sporran. Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Rangers FC from getting a goal against them. In the 68th match minute, Gavião Kyikatejê was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve McWattie to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Gary Gowan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rangers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gavião Kyikatejê the free kick. After 71 played minutes Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Gary Gowan. Raymond Johnston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jordan Robison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Gary Gowan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Raymond Johnston made a precise shot to the right of Jordan Robison. Gavião Kyikatejê's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When Danny Gilespie came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Rangers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danny Gilespie couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Raymond Johnston came free, but Jordan Robison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Danny Gilespie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rangers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Danny Gilespie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordan Robison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jordan Robison came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Rangers FC's Raymond Johnston. But to his dismay, Raymond Johnston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. There was no doubt that Rangers FC were the better team. Rangers FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
