When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Russell Bennett put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Martin McComas. A collision led to Gavião Kyikatejê getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Terry McAngus hit a great ball. Neil Deacon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin McComas. Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Russell Bennett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Martin McComas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Gavião Kyikatejê:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lisburn Distillery F.C.:s goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Martin McComas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Martin McComas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Russell Bennett in the 23rd minute of the match. If Russell Bennett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Russell Bennett in the 26th minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Martin McComas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juvenal Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rod Reidfurd, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Russell Bennett got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Gavião Kyikatejê got a freekick which was hit by Lloyd McCodrum. 31 minutes into the game, Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Russell Bennett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin McComas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Russell Bennett struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Martin McComas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lisburn Distillery F.C.. Martin McComas came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Russell Bennett. But to his dismay, Russell Bennett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After the first half Lisburn Distillery F.C. were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Russell Bennett to make the kick off. Russell Bennett came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Martin McComas could save by the left post. Gavião Kyikatejê's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Russell Bennett scored to the left of an out of position Martin McComas, making the score, 0-6. Russell Bennett might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin McComas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Russell Bennett ran back to his position shaking his head. Martin McComas made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Russell Bennett sent off a good shot on target. Russell Bennetts short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Martin McComas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Russell Bennett put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Martin McComas. Lisburn Distillery F.C. made a substitution. Ian Sloan replaced Russell Bennett. Ian Sloan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Martin McComas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dominik Giertych hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Martin McComas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Sloan in the 84th minute. In the 84th minute, Sid Park hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Sloan in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Martin McComas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lisburn Distillery F.C.'s Ian Sloan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 95 played minutes Ian Sloan rounded Gavião Kyikatejê's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-9. When the final whistle sounded Lisburn Distillery F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gavião Kyikatejê.
