St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Zuasnabar in the 6th minute of play. Brigid Rutherford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Zuasnabar in the 14th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Gavião Kyikatejê's Miguel Zuasnabar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brigid Rutherford made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Deilmison Davids hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Tipper Savic kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Miguel Zuasnabar might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brigid Rutherford. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Zuasnabar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute Miguel Zuasnabar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Bittencourt in the 31st minute of play forced St. James Gate F.C.'s goalkeeper Brigid Rutherford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brigid Rutherford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Zuasnabar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brigid Rutherford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Zuasnabar in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, St. James Gate F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hewney Kirby to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, St. James Gate F.C.'s Hewney Kirby got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Miguel Zuasnabar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Walker made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gavião Kyikatejê's Gary Petrie. After 46 minutes of play, Gavião Kyikatejê's Miguel Zuasnabar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brigid Rutherford was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bannon Glen Crowe to strike the kick off in the second half. St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Zuasnabar in the 57th minute of play. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hewney Kirby in the 58th minute of play. St. James Gate F.C. were furious when Tipper Savic was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. With a little luck, St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford got control of the ball when Miguel Zuasnabar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Zuasnabar might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brigid Rutherford. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Zuasnabar ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute Miguel Zuasnabar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid Rutherford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brigid Rutherford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Zuasnabar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. St. James Gate F.C.'s Gealan Cooney was substituted for Burke Martyn. Barhart Costello hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Brigid Rutherford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Zuasnabar went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 83rdth minute of the game Miguel Zuasnabar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but St. James Gate F.C.'s Brigid Rutherford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute Gavião Kyikatejê were awarded a corner. Rodney Lindov went to the cornerflag to take it. Gavião Kyikatejê's Gong Zhen Fan got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bannon Glen Crowe in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute Hewney Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sitthachat Jampeehom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Miguel Zuasnabar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brigid Rutherford was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When St. James Gate F.C.'s Hewney Kirby in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gavião Kyikatejê's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Hewney Kirby put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Sitthachat Jampeehom. The St. James Gate F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gavião Kyikatejê's performance. The match ended with a win for Gavião Kyikatejê.
