Rothwell Park's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Orlando Queirós scored to the left of an out of position Per-Erik Hjortberg, making the score, 1-0. 31 minutes into the game, one of Symba:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Symba:s Anis Achour showed great skill when he stopped Sammy Keino:s penalty. Per-Erik Hjortberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Rothwell Park's Per-Erik Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Veiga in the 35th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sílvio Veiga was the one to do the kick off.
