Limus Nunggal's Mandra Suherman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tacettin Umay in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Veiga in the 7th minute of play forced Limus Nunggal's goalkeeper Mandra Suherman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes Limus Nunggal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Imed Akid who took care of the corner kick. Zulfikar Kaimu hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Limus Nunggal's goalkeeper Mandra Suherman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomás San Juan. Mandra Suherman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tacettin Umay in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Limus Nunggal's Tantan Sundoro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anis Achour narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Symba's goal looked a bit too open when Tantan Sundoro came free, but Anis Achour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sadok Sfar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mandra Suherman having to interfere. Anis Achour came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Limus Nunggal's Tantan Sundoro. But to his dismay, Tantan Sundoro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Zulfikar Kaimu fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limus Nunggal's protests and gave Zulfikar Kaimu a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Limus Nunggal got a freekick which was hit by Zulfikar Kaimu. Anis Achour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tantan Sundoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Sílvio Veiga took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Mandra Suherman to make any attempt to save it. 42 minutes into the match, Symba's Sílvio Veiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mandra Suherman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hans Hartono hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Imed Akid came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Symba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Imed Akid couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tantan Sundoro was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Tantan Sundoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anis Achour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Symba booed when Limus Nunggal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marwal Kartiwa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mandra Suherman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás San Juan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Tantan Sundoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limus Nunggal's supporters rose to their feet, but Tantan Sundoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anis Achour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Symba made a substitution. Hatem Ben Amor replaced Garry Mann. After a rather tough play, Limus Nunggal's Zulfikar Kaimu got a free kick in the 65th minute. Limus Nunggal made a substitution. Viggo Skark replaced Panji Kalengkongan. Anis Achour came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Limus Nunggal's Tantan Sundoro. But to his dismay, Tantan Sundoro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khaled Chérif in the 82nd minute of play forced Limus Nunggal's goalkeeper Mandra Suherman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anis Achour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Endi Harmoko, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Kadek Suhastra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limus Nunggal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Symba the free kick. Kadek Suhastra hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of Symba booed when Limus Nunggal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kadek Suhastra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wincenty Solibieda missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 89 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Mandra Suherman right hand side. The Symba supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Limus Nunggal's performance. The match ended with a win for Limus Nunggal.
