Afiz Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Cabezon in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Don Cabezon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Afiz Teo. Don Cabezon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some careless play in the Redbourn AFC defense, Don Cabezon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afiz Teo. The Redbourn AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afiz Teo should have stopped the shot. Dacian Nițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noh Yi-Sheng in the 27th minute of play. Farhan Ching's late challenge caught a AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Farhan Ching helped the player get up and apologised. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC made a substitution. Podador Raheiro replaced Freddy Sazon. In the 33rd minute, Farhan Ching hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the game, Don Cabezon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Afiz Teo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Farhan Ching hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Afiz Teo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hidayat Peng stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Redbourn AFC booed when AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Don Cabezon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 minutes of play, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afiz Teo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Afiz Teo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Don Cabezon went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Victor Chan might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dacian Nițescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Chan ran back to his position shaking his head. A throw-in in the 71st minute of the game was made by Ronn Yi-Sheng with Victor Chan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Redbourn AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zafran Chuan in the 75th minute. After taking down the ball on Redbourn AFC's corner Zafran Chuan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dacian Nițescu quite easily take care of the ball. Afiz Teo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Don Cabezon's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's attentive Sadam Panjaitan managed to snatch the ball when Ronn Yi-Sheng made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. Don Cabezon might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afiz Teo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Don Cabezon ran back to his position shaking his head. Ryszard Owsiak hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
