In the 9th minute, Jean Britton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's Mustafa Arif İmruz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herb Good. Herb Good yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a little luck, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Herb Good got control of the ball when Cristian Tuste tried to sneak it across the goal line. AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's Carlos Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Britton in the 26th minute of play. Cristian Tuste hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Herb Good showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Tuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chanai Snow made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Matt Newby in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Sam McCain. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's goalkeeper Carlos Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
