An unexpectedly hard shot by Micky Febrian in the 27th minute of play forced Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Hemza Derrida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 minutes Salmiyah Power's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristoforo Strazzabosco who took care of the corner kick. Original Sabahan's André Luís Tande was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hemza Derrida in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Original Sabahan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Widodo Reza should have stopped the shot. Widodo Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lakhdar Guendouz in the 56th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lakhdar Guendouz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Widodo Reza was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Kacper Koperski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Widodo Reza having to interfere.
