In the 11th minute Joko Waluyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micky Febrian, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Micky Febrian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Romero. AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Micky Febrian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Carlos Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micky Febrian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joko Waluyo in the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joko Waluyo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Romero saved AMAZON DU DAHOMEY from getting behind. Carlos Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joko Waluyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Romero had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Mulyana Sembiring's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Original Sabahan's Joko Waluyo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Romero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joko Waluyo went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Micky Febrian took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Romero. Carlos Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 47th minute, Joko Waluyo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Original Sabahan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6.

After 53 minutes, Oscar Millman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AMAZON DU DAHOMEY and the Original Sabahan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes AMAZON DU DAHOMEY got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Millman. Original Sabahan's Dewa Kooth couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for AMAZON DU DAHOMEY. AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's Carlos Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joko Waluyo in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Original Sabahan getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jojo Guci hit a great ball. Carlos Romero made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Micky Febrian sent off a good shot on target. In the 74th minute of the match Original Sabahan got a corner. AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dewa Kooth ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to AMAZON DU DAHOMEY getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mustafa Hamit İncesu hit a great ball. AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Joko Waluyo scored to the left of an out of position Carlos Romero, making the score, 0-7. Original Sabahan's Yahya Kılıçaslan was substituted for Joko Waluyo. The Original Sabahan fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Original Sabahan's Yahya Kılıçaslan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match was over Original Sabahan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AMAZON DU DAHOMEY throughout the match.
