When the match clock showed 2 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Chanai Snow sped through Original Sabahan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Widodo Reza. Original Sabahan were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fadhly Haryanto-Ie took the corner. After taking down the ball on Original Sabahan's corner Daniel Vissenaekens fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carlos Romero quite easily take care of the ball. Fabián Ruiz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Yahya Kılıçaslan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Romero, 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Carlos Romero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fadhly Haryanto-Ie was slow to take the kick. During this time Original Sabahan's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Original Sabahan's Fadhly Haryanto-Ie to fire away a dangerous shot which Carlos Romero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yahya Kılıçaslan in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Widodo Reza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chanai Snow, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Yahya Kılıçaslan might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Romero made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Yahya Kılıçaslan sent off a good shot on target. Widodo Reza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Arif İmruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Original Sabahan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AMAZON DU DAHOMEY were winning 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yahya Kılıçaslan was the one to do the kick off. Original Sabahan's Yao Jian Lei managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Oscar Millman in the 51 minute of the game. In the 52nd minute, Yahya Kılıçaslan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Romero came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Original Sabahan's Yahya Kılıçaslan. But to his dismay, Yahya Kılıçaslan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Timothy Dennison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Original Sabahan defense, Timothy Dennison kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Widodo Reza. The Original Sabahan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Widodo Reza should have stopped the shot. When Joko Waluyo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Original Sabahan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joko Waluyo couldn't finish the play. Original Sabahan's Widodo Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timothy Dennison in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Joko Waluyo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Original Sabahan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. Mustafa Hamit İncesu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Armando Carcedo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Fadhly Haryanto-Ie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Romero. AMAZON DU DAHOMEY's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Original Sabahan fans cheered their team off the field, for while AMAZON DU DAHOMEY had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
