The AFC Richmond fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emerson Whaley should have stopped the shot. Hemza Derrida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Brochu, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 27 minutes into the game, David Brochu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hemza Derrida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abderrahmane Merah charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Salmiyah Power:s Hemza Derrida showed great skill when he stopped Lawrence Hopson:s penalty. In the 35th minute Salmiyah Power were awarded a corner. Leonard Bărnuțiu went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Kacper Koperski to score against Emerson Whaley in AFC Richmond's goal. 2-1 after 35 minutes. Hemza Derrida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Brochu in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Claus came free, but Emerson Whaley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, David Brochu managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Richmond's supporters rose to their feet, but David Brochu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hemza Derrida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The wind increased when Arsenio Claus made the kick off in the second half. In the 60th match minute, Salmiyah Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kacper Koperski to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
