Jagiellonia Denver's Eric Gary proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Jagiellonia Denver from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Denver's goalkeeper Eric Gary had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dawid Kochowski. Eric Gary made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tales Arruda in the 38th minute. Dawid Kochowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eric Gary could save by the left post. Eric Gary stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tales Arruda's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Gasca Nebuna were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Jagiellonia Denver's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Uwe Nørtarp took the corner. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
