The supporters of Gasca Nebuna booed when Persepolis F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Carlomagno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Gasca Nebuna's goalkeeper Béla Simon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justo Carlomagno. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justo Carlomagno got free with Béla Simon in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Dawid Kochowski in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santos Perez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Béla Simon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arden Poulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dawid Kochowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Santos Perez made a huge save. In the 68th minute of the match, Dawid Kochowski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santos Perez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Persepolis F.C.'s Avery Merrill got a free kick in the 71st minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Gasca Nebuna's Pedro Arantes in the 74th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Santos Perez was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Persepolis F.C. through an amazing save. Tales Arruda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Santos Perez made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arden Poulin in the 79th minute of play forced Gasca Nebuna's goalkeeper Béla Simon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Arantes in the 80th minute of the match. Béla Simon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Harkaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gasca Nebuna would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
