With a little luck, Bandung Tigers's Mekki Item got control of the ball when Coky Sugandi tried to sneak it across the goal line. PS Gunung Sindur's Nyangnyang Darussalam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anak Selby in the 14th minute of play. Bandung Tigers's Homero Azteca quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Raymond Rumbiak, made in the 15th minute of the game. After 16 played minutes Bandung Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Xiao Jie De. Coky Sugandi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mekki Item having to make a save. Anak Selby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Nyangnyang Darussalam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner ended in Jens Billberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bandung Tigers's Mekki Item did a great save. Anak Selby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nyangnyang Darussalam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Gilbert Fitrianto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mekki Item saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raymond Rumbiak hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Nyangnyang Darussalam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anak Selby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's Anak Selby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nyangnyang Darussalam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by PS Gunung Sindur's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wang Zheng Yun was slow to take the kick. During this time Bandung Tigers's players had a chance to rest. Bandung Tigers's Wang Zheng Yun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nyangnyang Darussalam in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mekki Item made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coky Sugandi in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, PS Gunung Sindur's goal looked a bit too open when Anak Selby came free, but Nyangnyang Darussalam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Anak Selby cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nyangnyang Darussalam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bandung Tigers made a substitution. Yoppie Duaramuri replaced Leopoldo Azevedo. Raymond Rumbiak was shown his second yellow card after 91 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
