Rosendo Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoris Katsafanas in the 10th minute of play. Qatar Dust Kickers's Rosendo Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigoris Katsafanas in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Cheikha Fellahi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Ostoici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match Qatar Dust Kickers got a corner. BuanaRaya's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rosendo Seguinus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hocine Bentaala in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cătălin Ostoici prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilles Tahar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Cătălin Ostoici made a huge save. BuanaRaya's Grigoris Katsafanas managed to work through Qatar Dust Kickers's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Grigoris Katsafanas dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 33rd minute Jeronimo Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigoris Katsafanas in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosendo Seguinus saved Qatar Dust Kickers from getting behind. Cătălin Ostoici was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilles Tahar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 41 minute of play. A collision led to Qatar Dust Kickers getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Maamar Soltani hit a great ball. Rosendo Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Katsafanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
