In the 3rd match minute, LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chukwualuka Amagu to maneuver through the defense. Chigo Abdu kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Daniel Dziura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wise Monye having to interfere. Wise Monye stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fedele Scirea's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Fedele Scirea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wise Monye having to interfere. In the 14thth minute of the game Fedele Scirea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's Wise Monye was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 16 played minutes LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 got a freekick which was hit by Chigo Abdu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chigo Abdu got free with Delmiro Rosalio in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wise Monye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Scirea in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 minutes LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Magno Jaka Jamba who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fedele Scirea in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wise Monye saved LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Fedele Scirea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wise Monye came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Set Fire's Fedele Scirea. But to his dismay, Fedele Scirea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some careless play in the LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 defense, Daniel Dziura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wise Monye. The LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wise Monye should have stopped the shot. After 41 played minutes Set Fire got a freekick which was hit by Olcay Tezkan. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Furo Ndudi to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Magno Jaka Jamba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Set Fire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magno Jaka Jamba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Okwii Nwoke kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Fedele Scirea in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wise Monye, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Set Fire's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Magno Jaka Jamba in the 58th minute. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when David Onas kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Wise Monye never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. A hard shot 63 in the game by Fedele Scirea from a close distance when the talented Wise Monye managed to make a qualified save. LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's players were relieved. Fedele Scirea did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Wise Monye 63 minutes into the match. Wise Monye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Dziura in the 66th minute of play. Wise Monye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Scirea in the 74th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Fedele Scirea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wise Monye was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Fedele Scirea sped through LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wise Monye. In the 79th minute, Chigo Abdu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmiro Rosalio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Fedele Scirea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wise Monye read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Chiazagomekpere Gana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fedele Scirea struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Wise Monye didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Set Fire. If Daniel Dziura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magno Jaka Jamba, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Daniel Dziura dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wise Monye, 1-7. When the final whistle sounded Set Fire left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014.
