An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Harri in the 9th minute of play forced LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's goalkeeper Wise Monye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Atletico Beirut got a corner. LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florencio Harri ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Florencio Harri almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's Wise Monye did a great save. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Ali Erdem Tekinsoy put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wise Monye. In the 13th minute of the match Atletico Beirut got a corner. LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florencio Harri ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wise Monye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Harri in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Atletico Beirut were awarded a corner. Florencio Harri went to the cornerflag to take it. When Elias Olbrechts fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Beirut's protests and gave Elias Olbrechts a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Atletico Beirut's Elias Olbrechts got a free kick in the 18th minute. Florencio Harri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wise Monye read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Florencio Harri notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's Wise Monye. Wise Monye was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th minute Atletico Beirut were awarded a corner. Florencio Harri went to the cornerflag to take it. Atletico Beirut's Florencio Harri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wise Monye in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wise Monye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Harri in the 28th minute of play. Florencio Harri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wise Monye read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ali Erdem Tekinsoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wise Monye was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Harri came free, but Wise Monye reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wise Monye showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Harri, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Florencio Harri made a precise shot to the right of Wise Monye. LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Chigo Abdu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes Atletico Beirut got a freekick which was hit by Nasri El Hariri. After some careless play in the LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 defense, Florencio Harri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wise Monye. The LAGOS STELLARIS FC2014 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wise Monye should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Harri to make the kick off. Wise Monye made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kamil Gulson in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute Atletico Beirut were awarded a corner. Florencio Harri went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Florencio Harri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wise Monye quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 61st minute, Amauchechukwu Yobo made a precise shot to the right of Farid Ayham. Atletico Beirut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 70th minute Atletico Beirut were awarded a corner. Florencio Harri went to the cornerflag to take it. Atletico Beirut's Florencio Harri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wise Monye in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 73 minutes into the game, Atletico Beirut's Ali Erdem Tekinsoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wise Monye made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 76th minute, Ali Erdem Tekinsoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Atletico Beirut fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Atletico Beirut's Florencio Harri looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Amauchechukwu Yobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Farid Ayham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Atletico Beirut's Ali Erdem Tekinsoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wise Monye made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Wise Monye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Harri in the 93rd minute of play. With his leg Wise Monye managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Atletico Beirut's Florencio Harri fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 96th minute, Florencio Harri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wise Monye was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. Atletico Beirut's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
