After 4 minutes of play, Set Fire's David Montinho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jakub Nieruchliwy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Magno Jaka Jamba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Jakub Nieruchliwy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakub Nieruchliwy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Montinho's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Set Fire's Delmiro Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilber Padgett in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Magno Jaka Jamba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Set Fire's supporters rose to their feet, but Magno Jaka Jamba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jakub Nieruchliwy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute David Montinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakub Nieruchliwy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Dziura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Charron to maneuver through the defense. In the 28thth minute of the game David Montinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marshrose's Jakub Nieruchliwy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marshrose's zone, David Montinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakub Nieruchliwy came out of the goal and David Montinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Montinho in the 32nd minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Jakub Nieruchliwy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Pedrosa came free, but Jakub Nieruchliwy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Set Fire's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Desilets came free, but Delmiro Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jakub Nieruchliwy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Montinho in the 38th minute of play. Magno Jaka Jamba hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Set Fire's Magno Jaka Jamba was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jakub Nieruchliwy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Montinho in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jakub Nieruchliwy saved Marshrose from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Set Fire booed when Marshrose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Rufo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélio Cunha's late challenge caught a Marshrose's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélio Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. Hélio Cunha hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Magno Jaka Jamba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Set Fire were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Marshrose's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Montinho took the corner. David Montinho had several of the Marshrose's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Jakub Nieruchliwy as he didn't even see the shot coming. Daniel Dziura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jakub Nieruchliwy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Edward Desilets kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Jakub Nieruchliwy made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Montinho in the 87th minute. David Montinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Jakub Nieruchliwy made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Montinho got free with Jakub Nieruchliwy in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Jakub Nieruchliwy managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Set Fire's David Montinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle sounded Set Fire left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Marshrose.
