Brice Leach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gale Laliberté got free with Abdessalem Abdessalam in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fryderyk Witwicki struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Brice Leach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adab FC. With a little luck, Adab FC's Abdessalem Abdessalam got control of the ball when Gale Laliberté tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fryderyk Witwicki in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brice Leach saved Varennes from getting behind. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Fryderyk Witwicki sped through Varennes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brice Leach. Varennes were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Adab FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Randell McCullough took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ellsworth Lindsay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abdessalem Abdessalam quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 44 minutes into the match, Varennes's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Rogiers came free, but Brice Leach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brice Leach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Witwicki in the 45th minute of play. Adab FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fryderyk Witwicki in the 46th minute. The corner led Adab FC's Fryderyk Witwicki to fire away a dangerous shot which Brice Leach despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ellsworth Lindsay made a kick off. After some careless play in the Varennes defense, Fryderyk Witwicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brice Leach. The Varennes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brice Leach should have stopped the shot. After 54 played minutes Adab FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Vennerström. Irving Dugan kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Varennes got a freekick which was hit by Irving Dugan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Witwicki in the 58th minute of play forced Varennes's goalkeeper Brice Leach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Varennes got a corner. Adab FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Randell McCullough ran over to the corner to take the kick. Brice Leach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Rogiers, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Fryderyk Witwicki might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brice Leach. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fryderyk Witwicki ran back to his position shaking his head. The Varennes fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Varennes's Ellsworth Lindsay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With his leg Brice Leach managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Adab FC's Fryderyk Witwicki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adab FC were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Varennes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fryderyk Witwicki took the corner. Adab FC made a substitution. Abd al-Asis Lacen replaced Fryderyk Witwicki. Adab FC made a substitution. Ahmed Tahar replaced Kingston Mønster. Ellsworth Lindsay kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Varennes's Ellsworth Lindsay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdessalem Abdessalam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Adab FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
