After some careless play in the Jangkrik Boss defense, Gigel Bucur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armin Proietto. The Jangkrik Boss fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armin Proietto should have stopped the shot. Josiah Ferland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Armin Proietto made a huge save. Jangkrik Boss's Armin Proietto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Bucur in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gigel Bucur made the kick off in the second half. Toronto Marlies FC's Tracy Narcisse quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iustinian Ioviță, made in the 51st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gigel Bucur in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armin Proietto saved Jangkrik Boss from getting behind. Wiktor Bator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Anfilogino Amicone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Jangkrik Boss getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hamdani Djunjunan hit a great ball. Armin Proietto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Bucur in the 60th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Gigel Bucur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jangkrik Boss's Immanuel Hartono was substituted for Orhan Yetener. Anfilogino Amicone made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when 余烨政 sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Bucur in the 84th minute of play forced Jangkrik Boss's goalkeeper Armin Proietto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Buyung Setiamiharja recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anfilogino Amicone. Buyung Setiamiharja showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Toronto Marlies FC made a substitution. Daniel Passarelli replaced Hélder Donatello. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Toronto Marlies FC had won after a very even match.
