The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vural Nazım made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Zbigniew Wiater immediately put the ball in play. With an all-out effort, 9 Lurah's Anfilogino Amicone threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rüknettin Toygar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The 9 Lurah fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when 9 Lurah's Kahlil Cahyadi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rüknettin Toygar got free with Anfilogino Amicone in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The throw-in from Vural Nazım in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Toronto Marlies FC's Hélder Donatello. After 55 played minutes 9 Lurah got a freekick which was hit by Karl Hedlund. 61 minutes into the game, Léopold Thomas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toronto Marlies FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 9 Lurah the free kick. Léopold Thomas kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 9 Lurah made a substitution. Surat Cinta replaced Kader Bekas.
