SAPI FC's Olimpiu Zgabei managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rafael Oyelere in the 36 minute of the game. A collision led to SAPI FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Warsidi Oktavianus hit a great ball. Ify Uwen made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ndidi Ikani. Manasseh Adejuyigbe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caio Dante in the 42nd minute. Caio Dante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manasseh Adejuyigbe having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ndidi Ikani was the one to do the kick off. Caio Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caio Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manasseh Adejuyigbe having to interfere. If Caio Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Caio Dante sped through Tollesbury's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manasseh Adejuyigbe. SAPI FC's Rio Python was substituted for Tito Rangkuti. Manasseh Adejuyigbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd match minute, Tollesbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olakunle Udoka to maneuver through the defense.
