Warsidi Oktavianus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alessio Bolognesi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anak Habib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacer Khlifi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Marrakech FC's Abdellatif Benkhirane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anak Habib narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anak Habib didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdellatif Benkhirane went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Marrakech FC's attentive Alessio Bolognesi managed to snatch the ball when Olof Mellberg made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. The SAPI FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marrakech FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Caio Dante made the kick off in the second half. Sebastião Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Dante in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caio Dante in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastião Salgado saved Marrakech FC from getting behind. The SAPI FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Marrakech FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
