After 13 minutes Ballkam Sportsklubb's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joachim Engelund who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Oslo City FC's corner Geir-Inge Skulstad fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Odin Saue quite easily take care of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Joachim Engelund sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Odin Saue threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Joachim Engelund this time. When Elof Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Oslo City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elof Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. Odin Saue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Gustafsson in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Oslo City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Abubakar came free, but Søren Valen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Vincent Abubakar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Søren Valen was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geir-Inge Skulstad to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincent Abubakar in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Søren Valen saved Oslo City FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Abubakar in the 55th minute of play forced Oslo City FC's goalkeeper Søren Valen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Abubakar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Søren Valen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Odin Saue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elof Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent Abubakar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Søren Valen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ballkam Sportsklubb's Odin Saue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vegard Bruvoll in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Oslo City FC booed when Ballkam Sportsklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Bakar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Oslo City FC could leave the field as winners, despite Ballkam Sportsklubb having more of the ball for most of the match.
