Tomáš Kolek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Søren Valen made a huge save. FC Pladask were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Oslo City FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kjetil-André Grønseth took the corner. Søren Valen came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Pladask's Inge Børseth. But to his dismay, Inge Børseth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling James Feldthaus in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Søren Valen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that James Feldthaus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Søren Valen was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Søren Valen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Kolek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trond Soltveit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oslo City FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after FC Pladask's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joachim Engelund took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geir-Inge Skulstad in the 20th minute of play forced FC Pladask's goalkeeper Daniel Grønningsæter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Pladask booed when Oslo City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Engelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Oslo City FC's goalkeeper Søren Valen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dariusz Adamczak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fu Lin in the 26th minute of play forced FC Pladask's goalkeeper Daniel Grønningsæter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. James Feldthaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Grønningsæter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geir-Inge Skulstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Daniel Grønningsæter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vegard Bruvoll in the 33rd minute of the match. Trond Soltveit in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Søren Valen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Oslo City FC's goalie and right to Inge Børseth. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Oslo City FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The FC Pladask fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when FC Pladask's James Feldthaus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Daniel Grønningsæter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geir-Inge Skulstad in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, FC Pladask's Alexander Markussen got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Søren Valen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trond Soltveit, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute Dariusz Adamczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Søren Valen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Pladask's Alexander Markussen got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Dariusz Adamczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Markussen during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geir-Inge Skulstad had several of the FC Pladask's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 73 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Daniel Grønningsæter as he didn't even see the shot coming. Søren Valen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Feldthaus in the 85th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Kjetil-André Grønseth got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Søren Valen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fu Lin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Grønningsæter having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oslo City FC's Geir-Inge Skulstad got a free kick in the 93rd minute. A collision led to FC Pladask getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dariusz Adamczak hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Oslo City FC's Elof Gustafsson got a free kick in the 95th minute.
