Gürol Atasan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Roald Engebakken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ren Bur having to interfere. Ren Bur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roald Engebakken, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Skytta Toppidrettslag's Gürol Atasan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Moraes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Gürol Atasan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Moraes. Wout Gheysen thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Hugo Moraes, a very annoying self made goal in the 45th minute which led to 0-3. The FRANK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Skytta Toppidrettslag were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ola Børseth to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, FRANK's Ola Børseth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ren Bur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ren Bur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Mathiassen in the 55th minute of play. FRANK were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Skytta Toppidrettslag's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wout Gheysen took the corner. Stefan Mathiassen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ren Bur having to interfere. Ren Bur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Børseth in the 63rd minute of the match. Steffen Schlenz hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When FRANK's Ola Børseth in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Yzerman in the 91st minute of play forced Skytta Toppidrettslag's goalkeeper Ren Bur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Ola Børseth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Skytta Toppidrettslag walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
