Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erik Cantona started the match with the kick off. Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Cantona in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Arne Botnen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 played minutes Gædd FK got a freekick which was hit by Geir-Inge Unhjem. Erik Cantona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andreas Berglund having to make a save. In the 8thth minute of the game Erik Cantona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geir-Inge Unhjem kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Cantona in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Berglund saved Gædd FK from getting behind. Saga TF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Trond Gilde in the 12th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Santi Urbieta got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 12 minutes into the match. After 16 minutes, Erik Cantona made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th match minute, Gædd FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geir-Inge Unhjem to maneuver through the defense. Geir-Inge Unhjem kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Erik Cantona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Andreas Berglund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, Gædd FK's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Cantona came free, but Andreas Berglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Cantona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 29th minute Erik Cantona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Cantona in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Berglund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erik Cantona might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Berglund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Cantona ran back to his position shaking his head. Andreas Berglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Cantona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Berglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Cantona in the 36th minute of play. Saga TF were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Gædd FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Trond Gilde took the corner. Santi Urbieta made a great header on Saga TF's corner, it was just that Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 38th minute, Iwo Gendolla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andreas Berglund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Cantona's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Cantona in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Geir-Inge Unhjem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kjetil Hellevik made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Gædd FK's goalkeeper Andreas Berglund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Cantona. If Billy Backman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Cantona might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Berglund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Cantona ran back to his position shaking his head. Erik Cantona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andreas Berglund came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Saga TF's Erik Cantona. But to his dismay, Erik Cantona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 68 minutes into the match, Gædd FK's goalkeeper Andreas Berglund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Cantona. A hard shot 70 in the game by Erik Cantona from a close distance when the talented Andreas Berglund managed to make a qualified save. Gædd FK's players were relieved. Billy Backman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Andreas Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Erik Cantona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andreas Berglund was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. The Saga TF fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Saga TF's Erik Cantona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Gædd FK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Geir-Inge Unhjem hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Erik Cantona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Andreas Berglund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andreas Berglund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Cantona in the 87th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Saga TF's Erik Cantona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andreas Berglund. That made the score 0-8 after 89 minutes of play. Andreas Berglund made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Arne Botnen sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Erik Cantona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andreas Berglund, 0-9. The Gædd FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Saga TF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
