With a little luck, Rakkestad IF's Christophe Pourre got control of the ball when Steve Yzerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabiano Ornelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Moraes having to interfere. Christophe Pourre was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stefan Mathiassen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. Christophe Pourre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Mathiassen in the 35th minute of play. Christophe Pourre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ola Børseth in the 38th minute. A collision led to FRANK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Stefan Mathiassen hit a great ball. After 41 minutes of play, Rakkestad IF's Andrzej Dobrowski made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FRANK's Wout Gheysen got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Stefan Mathiassen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Pourre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

59 minutes into the match, Rakkestad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Børseth came free, but Christophe Pourre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Fabiano Ornelas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rakkestad IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After having played for 63 minutes, Fabiano Ornelas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rakkestad IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabiano Ornelas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrzej Dobrowski struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Hugo Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rakkestad IF. Rakkestad IF made a substitution. Robert Pirès replaced Ion Nediu. Christophe Pourre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ola Børseth's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. FRANK's Hugo Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FRANK from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Ola Børseth sped through Rakkestad IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christophe Pourre. 75 minutes into the match, Rakkestad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Mathiassen came free, but Christophe Pourre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Ødegården in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Ola Børseth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Pourre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95thth minute of the game Johan Ødegården who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FRANK's Hugo Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FRANK were victorious despite being under pressure from Rakkestad IF for much of the match.
