Karl Fanebust received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Andreas Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Klemetsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, AC Mizeria's goal looked a bit too open when Alf-Inge Hol came free, but Dionisio Iyan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Bjørndalen in the 21st minute of play forced Gædd FK's goalkeeper Andreas Berglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severin Hussein received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dionisio Iyan came out and tried to block the shot, but Severin Hussein slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. Andreas Berglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Klemetsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Berglund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Klemetsen's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Dionisio Iyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf-Inge Hol in the 39th minute of play. After 44 played minutes AC Mizeria got a freekick which was hit by Øyvind Flesland. Severin Hussein who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Dionisio Iyan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 47th minute of the match, Alf-Inge Hol tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dionisio Iyan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severin Hussein stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AC Mizeria would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
