Thomas Revheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eilert Nordlie, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 16 minutes into the match, POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper Thomas Revheim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eilert Nordlie. 19 minutes into the match, Laniakea's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Mauro came free, but Ali Adjani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Adjani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gard Bredesen in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Gard Bredesen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Adjani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Mauro struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Ali Adjani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POPODARA F.C. When Adam Sandbakken came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Laniakea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Sandbakken couldn't finish the play. If Gard Bredesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomas Revheim made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Adam Sandbakken sent off a good shot on target. Gard Bredesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ali Adjani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Adjani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gard Bredesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Laniakea's corner Martin Hjorth fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thomas Revheim quite easily take care of the ball. Eilert Nordlie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adam Sandbakken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Bendik Bekken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the POPODARA F.C and the Laniakea players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bendik Bekken kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Laniakea's Ali Adjani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bendik Bekken in the 66th minute of play. Ali Adjani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gard Bredesen in the 68th minute of the match. Ali Adjani came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by POPODARA F.C's Gard Bredesen. But to his dismay, Gard Bredesen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 72nd minute, Gard Bredesen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The POPODARA F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 75th minute, Gard Bredesen made a precise shot to the right of Ali Adjani. Laniakea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After having played for 78 minutes, Federico Mauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
