Toma Lechev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olof Skretting having to make a save. 11 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Toma Lechev came free, but Olof Skretting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Toma Lechev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Skretting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olof Skretting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toma Lechev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guaberto Boniel hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jarle Volden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon-Erik Vedøy, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Cheeky Nuts United were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Kjønstad BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stathis Konstantakis took the corner. Jarle Volden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stathis Konstantakis in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Kjønstad BF's Toma Lechev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olof Skretting. Olof Skretting yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some careless play in the Kjønstad BF defense, Jon-Erik Vedøy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jarle Volden. The Kjønstad BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jarle Volden should have stopped the shot. Toma Lechev succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 28th playminute. Theodor Heiberg made in the 41st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alf Austad. When Kjønstad BF's Toma Lechev in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cheeky Nuts United's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th minute, Nechifor Mangra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

With an all-out effort, Cheeky Nuts United's Jarle Volden threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Birger Øvstebø, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 54 minutes into the match, Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Jarle Volden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jon-Erik Vedøy. Theodor Heiberg made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alf Austad immediately put the ball in play. In the 70th minute, Toma Lechev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olof Skretting was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The supporters of Kjønstad BF booed when Cheeky Nuts United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodor Heiberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reidar Nordhaug in the 91st minute of play forced Cheeky Nuts United's goalkeeper Olof Skretting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Reidar Nordhaug put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Olof Skretting. When the referee blew the final whistle, Kjønstad BF could leave the field as winners, despite Cheeky Nuts United having more of the ball for most of the match.
